WWF International Director , Policy and Science

Location:
This position is based at WWF International in Gland (near Geneva), Switzerland.
Role:
The Director, Policy and Science reports directly to the Executive Director, Priority programs and provides the WWF Networks, the Global initiatives and other influence the rules, procedures and actions of governments, the private sector, and international institutions.
We are looking for :

An advanced degree or equivalent work experience in relevant discipline like environmental policy, environmental law, environment and development or natural resources management.
At least 10 years of relevant professional policy experience in conservation, environment and development work and at least 5 years of relevant professional management experience of multidisciplinary tearns.
In depth understanding of global and regional environmental natural resources and geopolitical gocernance
project management skills
